Woman on sidewalk critically injured in hit-and-run crash
WESTMINSTER – Two men were arrested and two others are being sought by police after a stolen SUV struck and critically injured a pedestrian Tuesday night, authorities said.
Officers responded to reports of a hit-and-run crash. The white Lexus SUV — that police said was stolen — crashed into a power pole about 7:30 p.m. on Bolsa Avenue just west of Beach Boulevard. The collision caused a power outage in the area.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a pedestrian lying near the SUV, critically injured. Paramedics rushed the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital.
