Semi flips onto I-5 in Seattle, 4 hurt
Four people were injured in a crash that is blocking all lanes of southbound I-5 just north of downtown Seattle.
The State Patrol says a semi truck carrying eggs was heading south at Ravenna when it collided with another car.
The semi truck truck rolled and ended upside-down on the onramp from NE Ravenna Street below. The other car spun around and crashed into a freeway retaining wall.
Officials say initial reports are that the semi truck driver had serious injuries while three on the car were also injured. Video from Air 4 showed the three in the car had to be extricated.
There is no word when the southbound lanes will reopen. Troopers say the semi truck lost a lot of oil in addition to the mess from its spilled cargo.
